The Microscopy & Imaging Facility provides access to an integrated suite of state-of-the-art optical and correlative microscopy platforms, enabling advanced multiscale analysis of biological and material systems. Our instrumentation ranges from confocal, multiphoton, super-resolution, and light-sheet microscopy to atomic force microscopy and imaging mass spectrometry, offering unique capabilities to visualize and quantify structural, functional, and dynamic processes at the nanoscale.
The facility is fully compatible with multimodal correlative microscopy, allowing researchers to integrate different imaging modalities within comprehensive and flexible workflows that span from widefield screening to 4D live-cell imaging and high-content quantitative analysis. This makes the facility a strategic hub for projects in cell and molecular biology, precision medicine, bioengineering, nanotechnology, and materials science.
Operating in close synergy with Tecnomed’s other four core facilities — Flow Cytometry & Cell Sorting, NPs & GMP, Micro- & Biofabrication, and Cell & Tissue Culture — the Microscopy & Imaging Facility supports both fundamental and translational research across disciplines.
