Abstract
A nanotechnological platform composed by stimuli responsive nanovectors is developed. These nanovectors are based on the proper employment of both FDA-approved synthetic and bio polymers that are loaded with therapeutic agents (e.g. small molecules and/or nucleic acids and/or proteins) for advancements in immunotherapies, with particular focus on CAR-Therapy. High payload loading efficiency and sustained release over time are pursued thanks to innovative nanofabrication techniques, as well as good transfection efficacy of different primary/immortalized human cells by optimized nanoparticle interactions with biological machinery. in order to specifically interact with target cells, thus minimizing off targets side effects, these nanoparticles are engineered with cellular motifs (camouflage). This approach show promising results for in vivo engineering of target cells, showing good results in term of biocompatibility and transfection index.
