ZEISS LSM 910 + Lightfield 4D
Instrument description
The ZEISS LSM 910 is a high-performance laser scanning confocal microscope designed for high-sensitivity, high-speed, and high spatial resolution acquisitions. The system integrates the Lightfield 4D module, enabling simultaneous capture of spatial and angular fluorescence information, allowing volumetric reconstruction, post-acquisition computational refocusing, and spatiotemporal analysis of dynamic biological processes.
The instrument is available for research activities, training sessions, and service-based analyses within scientific collaborations and supported projects.

Instrument use must be booked in advance and approved by the instrument manager (enrica.soprano@cnr.it)
External users
External access is possible under the following agreements:
1.Scientific collaboration – use of the instrument within a joint research project or bilateral collaboration agreement.
2.Training – hands-on sessions supervised by qualified laboratory staff.
3.Use under technical assistance
4.Service – measurement and analysis performed by the facility staff on samples provided by the user

ZEISS Lightsheet 7
Instrument description
The ZEISS Lightsheet 7 is a light-sheet fluorescence microscope designed for rapid three-dimensional imaging of large biological specimens with minimal phototoxicity and photobleaching. The system employs selective plane illumination, enabling high-speed volumetric acquisition while maintaining high contrast and resolution.. The platform supports multicolor imaging, time-lapse acquisition, and 4D reconstruction, making it particularly suitable for studies involving organoids, embryos, cleared tissues, and complex cellular models. The instrument is available for research activities, training sessions, and service-based analyses within scientific collaborations and supported projects.

Workstation Arivis Pro
Instrument description
The Arivis Pro workstation is designed for visualization, processing, and quantitative analysis of large multidimensional imaging datasets. It efficiently handles 3D/4D and multichannel data from advanced microscopy techniques. The software supports segmentation (including machine learning), tracking, morphometric analysis, fluorescence quantification, and high-quality 3D reconstruction, with optimized performance for large-scale imaging data.
