Preclinical studies laboratory
Instrument description
Vega Preclinical Ultrasound System is an automated, hands-free preclinical ultrasound imaging system with high reproducibility, providing high-resolution 2D and 3D images within minutes. It is equipped with two types of integrated transducers (Wobbler and Linear Array) for Brightness Mode, Motion Mode, 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging, as well as Acoustic Angiography and Shear Wave Elastography.
Quantum GX3 microCT System is an X-ray imaging system capable of acquiring high-resolution 3D images. It can be used for tumor detection and monitoring, bone remodeling studies, cardiac function assessment, and evaluation of the biodistribution of novel drug delivery vectors (e.g., gold nanoparticles). The system provides a spatial resolution of 5 µm, with acquisition and reconstruction Fields of View (FOVs) of 8 mm, 18 mm, 36 mm, 72 mm, and 86 mm.
In Vivo Imaging System IVIS Spectrum 2 is an in vivo optical imaging system with 2D bioluminescence, 2D fluorescence imaging, and 3D optical tomography combined in a single platform. It performs optical imaging from 400 to 850 nm with various modalities: photographic, bioluminescence, fluorescence, 2D, 3D topographic, and Cerenkov imaging.

Behavioural research laboratory
Instrument description
Novel object recognition test/ open field test
Its application is not limited to a field of research and enables that various issues can be studied, such as the memory and learning, the preference for novelty, the influence of different brain regions in the process of recognition, and even the study of different drugs and their effects.
Behavioral labyrinths
Many contemporary studies based on two-alternative-forced-choice (2AFC) tasks observe only slow or incomplete learning. As an alternative, we study the unconstrained behavior of mice in a complex labyrinth and measure the dynamics of learning and the behaviors that enable it.
