Instrument description
The Axio Zoom.V16 is a high-performance stereoscopic zoom macroscope designed for imaging large specimens with high resolution and an extended depth of field. It features a fully apochromatic 16:1 zoom system that enables seamless transitions between macro and micro observation without loss of image quality.
It supports fluorescence, brightfield, darkfield, and reflected light imaging, making it particularly suitable for the analysis of model organisms (embryos, zebrafish, organoids), the imaging of large tissue samples, and large-scale screening. The system is integrated with high-sensitivity digital cameras and automated acquisition systems for stitching and z-stack imaging over large fields of view.

External users
External access is possible under the following agreements:
1.Scientific collaboration – use of the instrument within a joint research project or bilateral collaboration agreement.
2.Training – hands-on sessions supervised by qualified laboratory staff.
3.Use under technical assistance
4.Service – measurement and analysis performed by the facility staff on samples provided by the user

JPK NanoWizard V
Instrument description
The JPK NanoWizard V is a next-generation Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) for high-resolution nanoscale analysis in materials science and bio-nanotechnology.
It features a modular design integrated with an inverted optical and fluorescence microscope for correlative imaging in air and liquid. The system provides sub-nanometer vertical resolution using a high-precision piezoelectric scanner and laser-based detection. It supports advanced imaging and force spectroscopy modes, including Contact, Tapping/AC Mode, and Quantitative Imaging (QI). It is ideal for nanomechanical measurements and biological applications, with compatibility for liquid cells and environmental control.
